I'm sorry. I've committed the unspoken crime. A Christmas post in November. I am truly sorry.

But then again, Halloween is over, it's been Bonfire Night for us Brits and Thanksgiving is just been for those US readers. So what else am I supposed to be excited for?! Christmas of course?! And it is nearly December...

Anyway, enough of the Christmas hype.

If you hadn't noticed from the title, the lovely people at Fat Face contacted me about collaborating again of course I jumped at the chance. (If you haven't seen my first collaboration post check it out HERE). Fat Face have a great selection of festive knits in some gorgeous colours and patterns, of course I went for the grey option.

Topping grey off with more grey with my grey fedora and being slightly less of a colour hater with the amazing deep berry lipstick.

Buy my festive jumper HERE and check out more Fat Face festive knits HERE

WISHLIST | Winter Edition ft. Some Colour (!?!!)

ASOS, H and M, Monki, Pull and Bear, winter, wish list, Zara, wishlist, 70's, 70s, colour, utility dress, lace up, pom pom,

If you're questioning the title of this post, it can be explained simply by saying - I hate colour. As illustrated in almost every other wishlist post I've done, and mentioned many a time before; my relationship with clothing that is not a shade of white, grey or black is somewhat, turbulent if you will. In other words I rarely ever wear anything that is not a shade of white, grey or black. So you could say the relationship with colour is pretty much non-existent.

So with this in mind, it came to some considerable surprise to both me and my mum when I picked up a yellow (yes, yellow) dress when we were shopping recently. Following this strange revelation, I've found several pieces that are actually coloured?!

Still not over the 70's trend I love the belted utility style dresses, and lace up detailing. I feel like either of the dresses, the playsuit or mini skirt would look perfect with over the knee boots. Also loving pom poms too, *cough*stereotypicalblogger*cough*, if you can't tell already.

Realising this isn't very winter-y, very little wool and coats etc. Oops.

First off, sorry for the slightly longer-than-usual silence from me. Uni and life have just got in the way, blah blah blah, the usual stuff. And then I left my camera at uni when I went home for week, delaying the post even more?!? (Not hung up on it at all still, promise)

Anyway, back to the real reason you probably started reading.

Confession time. My name is Ellie and I am a stereotypical fashion/lifestyle blogger (if you hadn't already figured that out from the photos), but I love it.

I also really like gin. And people know this, hence all the gin.

And I have a lot of candles. Don't tell my landlord.

Aside from the grim coloured (read: sick coloured) carpets and the bog standard "beech wood effect" furniture, I do really love my new uni room. In fact, to be completely honest we managed to get a very nice house - for student housing - much to the agitation of our various friends (mwhaha, sorry not sorry).

I adore interiors. I just can't get enough. So I had plans for this room, having more space and surfaces to decorate and style. However with the previously stated questionable details, I know it will never turn out as Pinterest-worthy as I've dreamt up. Speaking of Pinterest though, I've had an epiphany how to actually use it (I think?!), so check out my profile HERE or via the link below!

Check out my original ROOM TOUR too.
